Ramona goes outside, but not to stay.

 There was this day when I was about 5 or 6 months old, I don't remember, exactly, well I got the name Ramona, because I always like to get into trouble. but this time I didn't, you see.  I was getting to be a full grown cat, well you know, the cat time of year came around. . . I wanted to see a boy cat!

 I meowed and meowed, I sang, I went on my back, and I made so much noise that the family decided to put me out.  

 I was very scared.  I hadn't been really out since I came in, and the first thing I did was to find a tree and climb it.  I got so far up that I couldn't get down.   These pictures were taken when I was in the tree.   The family, well they thought that I would never come down and so they went and got me and took me home.  The father and the big brother did get some scratches in the bargain.

But in the end I came home, and that was that.  They love me.  I know.



Ramona.  - I made Rachael Alice type this, it is amazing that she can understand cat language, but she is not so good at speaking it, I must admit.  

Ramona becomes a housecat!

Romona was a lonely little kitten about a year an a half ago.  These are her baby pictures.  She was really skinny, no? She has since grown into her tail.

When she was chased away by her mother and she stayed a few days around her former nest, but then she  got hungry.  Very hungry.  Then she found some people who put out some milk.  She went to Kehati Street and although the milk didn't agree with her , she still liked it. It tasted different than Mom's milk.
One day, there was a woman who came and picked her up and hugged me.   She did this for a few days, and the kitten stayed around to get the milk and hugs.

Then one day there were some children who didn't like cats. They got a box and the kitten thought it was a game to go into the box and then get out, get in, get out.  It was a fun cat game.  But then they got some tape and tried to keep the kitten in the box. They wanted to put the kitten in the garbage taped up inside the box.  But,  tt didn't work, because even though she was a small kitten, she had sharp claws!  And she knew how to use them!

But the mother saw how the kids were treating the kitten, and though it was very skinny and scraggly, it was a cute kitten as you can see from the photos.  It was Friday afternoon, and well the mother couldn't resist and she took the kitten home.  They didn't have anything for cats. no cat food, no litter box, but they had lots of love, The other stuff came later!  

Chapter 27 At the Chocolate mansion Pufftail the Detective Cat

We are at the backstage of the Chocolate Mansion.  The Humans are making lots of noise, watching the Play of Romeo and Juliet. in the meantime, the Tabio and Chocolate Point play is still in intermission.  Enter Catnip Pufftail and his two assistants, Soft Paws and Chocolate Help.

Catnip Pufftail,: Allow me to introduce myself. I am Catnip Pufftail, and I am here to solve the myster of the missing pages of your script.  By the way, Why didn't you memorize it?

Tabio: Well, sir, I just found this script a week ago and we didn't have time to do much rehersal, so we are doing it as a dramatic reading.  So, we  only finished the balcony scene, and then the rest of the pages dissapeared.

Daigo: That's not what you told us!

Trashio. I think that they went in the trash.

Daigo: You always say that!

Tabio: Hey, there boycats.  Don't get your fur up!

Catnip Pufftail: So, there is a difference of opinion of exactly where the missiing pages were last seen.

Tabio: Think that I brought the whole manuscript here to go over a bit before the play was supposed to start.

Catnip Pufftail: So, we will start looking around your dressing rooms.

Daigo: We don't have a dressing room, we just put on our costumes right here!

Catnip Pufftail takes out a magnifying glass and starts to examine the whole area.

Trashio: How long is this going to take? We can continue the play.  and make it up as we go along!

Daigo: As if you even read it before?

Trashio: Sure, I did.  Tabio and Chocolate Point go get married secretly, then there is a fight.

Catnip Pufftail: Stop bickering, I need absolute quiet to do my examination. Soft Paws, hand me the footprint powder!

Soft Paws: Sure boss, here it is

Catnip Pufftail:  That's talcum powder!

Soft Paws: I'm sorry boss, but the Super Secret Detective Store was all out and they gave me that instead.  It was cheaper so I thought that you wouldn't mind.

Catnip Pufftail: Oh never mind.  Hand me the camera.

Soft Paws:  Well, don't you remember that you had to pawn the camera.  We have to use Chocolate Help's phone now.

Catnip Pufftail: Well, yes. Ok, so come here with the phone and take a picture of this:

Chocolate Help: I'll take the picture, its MY phone.

Soft Paws: Yes!  It is the distictive paw print of Catastrophe, the Cat Burglar!

Catnip Pufftail:  Yes, see the identical scar on the left front foot and the back left foot?  Did you see any other cats here backstage?

Trashio: Well there was a servant cat who took out the trash. . .

Soft Paws: 

Chapter 26 Catnip Pufftail - Fearless Detective Cat.

Scene: Detective Agency of Catnip Pufftail.

Chocolate Help:  Mr. Pufftail, there's a call coming in!

Catnip Pufftail: A call?  The first one this week!

Softpaws: Boss it's Monday night, of course it would be the first one of the week, we just opened!

Chocolate Help:  Mr. Pufftail, it is from my house! The Chocolate family always has a party when one of the latest litter comes of age! It is my younger sister's coming of age party, Chocolate Point!

Catnip Pufftail: Ok, we got the place, what is the crime?

Chocolate Help: Let me listen.  Yes, Yes, no, yes, OK! Got it.

Catnip Pufftail: Is there a case?

Chocolate Help:  Yes.  Tabio, he's the great great great great great great

Catnip Pufftail :  Stop with the greats!

Chocolate Help"  Ok, the umteenth great

Catnip Pufftail: (puffing his tail) grrrr

Chocolate Help: (gulp) grandson of the playwright Tabsphere,

Catnip Pufftail:  Yesssssss \

Chocolate Help: Yes, he is putting on the cat entainment for Chocolate Point's coming of age party and

Catnip Pufftail:  And what?

Chocolate Help: The play can't go on until they find the missing pages!

Soft Paws: Boss, this sounds like the work of Catastrophe, the Cat burglar! \He sneaks in while the cats are sleeping and takes scripts!

Catnip Pufftall: Yes, Softy, you may be right. We have to check out the scene of the crime!

Chocolate Help:  That's easy, I call back and tell them that we are on the way!

Catnip Pufftail: On the double!

Chapter 25 Backstage break

We are backstage after the emotional Balcony scene of Tabio and Chocolate Point play.  There seems to be a problem . . .

 
Trashio - Hey man, where's the rest of the script?

Tabio: Well, that's all the pages that I found so far!

Dagio - Why didn't you tell us that the play wasn't finished when we started?

Tabio - Well, it's a good start, no?

Trashio - Let's trash this.

Daigo- You would say that wouldn't you.

Tabio- Hey you Street cats, we already took off those itchty costumes, lets just leave the curtain closed and go out and party!

Dagio - You've got to be kidding!  We are the only street cats in a house full of Siamese! Do you know what they are going to do to us if we walk out there in our fur? \

Trashio - yeah, well my costume was really dirty

Daigo,- You are always dirty. Look at you! Why don't you ever clean yourself?!

Trashio - You think that I want to lick this stuff?

Daigo- You do have a point. . .

Trashio.  Well what are we going to do about the missiing pages?

Tabio - ok, I have a plan.  We put the costumes back on, and I'll go back and see if there are any more pages stashed somewhere.

Daigo - Where? In the trash?

Trashio- That's my department.  I'll go.

Daigo,- What and leave me alone?  No way!

Tabio- Ok, well, then we all go.  We won't be long.  Wait!  I know.  We'll invite some of the Siamese to help us!

Daigio- And if they don't?

Tabio - Well its a plan, no?   Yes! I got it!  We'll go ask Detective Catnip Pufftail!  He's famous!

Trashio- Who?

Tabio What?  You haven't heard of him?  He's solved many cases! The Cat of the Baskervilles!
The Scarlet Cat

Daigio- Well if you want.

Tabio. Sure. Let's put on the costumes and we'll be back before they notice we've been gone.

Chapter 24 Act II Scene II Tabio and Chocolate Point

Act II Scene II
Setting in the orchard outside the Chocolate family mansion

Chocolate Point:  Meowwwwww  Meeee  owww  I'm singing, singing for the fun and longing

Tabio: (to himself) She really has a wonderful voice,

Chocolate Point:  Mee  www, Meeeeoooow, how can I meet him again?   I don't even know what he looks like? He was dressed like a lion at the party, and I was a lioness, we are meant to be together!

Tabio: (to himself)  Yes, I know what she looks like, a Siamese!  They all look the same, but she has the deepest blue eyes.

Chocolate Point and Tabio at night

Chocolate Point:  Wait, do I hear someone in the tree?

Tabio:  Yes, you do I just slipped a bit.

Chocolate Point: Yes!! I know that voice,  Please show yourself,

Tabio:  You are the sun of my life, the laughter in my eyes, the catnip of my smile but you may be dismayed at my fur, it is not the cream of the Siamese. I'll stay hidden for a little while.

Chocolate Point: I'm tired of this cream and brown all the time.  I can't even tell my sisters apart anymore.  What do I care for a different color fur?

Tabio: What is this?  Tis true.  The color of the fur doesn't make the cat.  I have known a black cat, who was as soft as a kitten, and a piebald who was covered in dirt.

Chocolate Point: These ideas are hard to chew,  give me time to pounce on it.

Tabio: Pounce all you want, as long as you pounce with me.  Your eyes captivate me.
You are the sun, and I am the moon.  I'll sing to your beauty every night.

Chocolate Point.  Yowlllll Me oowwww,   Woooooowww

Tabio: I'll make it a duet  Meeow  Meoow, Weeeeeooooow, what fine music we make together. But you should know, I'm a tabby street cat.

Chocolate Point:  I never knew the song of a tabby.  such low and dark notes you sing.

Tabio: And your soprano is liting, plucking the strings of my heart.

Chocolate Cream: Come in now Chocolate Point!  It is getting cold outside and it is starting to snow.

Chocolate Point:  My singing tom, you had better go, or the snow will show every one of your steps, although the snow may cover your tabby fur. (louder) Yes nurse, I'm coming.   Is there some warm milk?  (to Tabio)  I still don't even know your name?  What is your family?   How can we meet again?

Tabio:  I'm Tabio, and I'm not in a distinguished family like yours.  I'll come back to this tree and we will meet again. Yeooooowwwwll

Chocolate Point:  Be quiet.  the nurse will suspect that it is not just me out here.

Tabio:  I'm sure of that!  I'll be discrete, but my heart is now yours, a song a day keeps the heart in the right way. Bye my sweet, tomorrow we'll meet. In this tree I'll dream of thee.

Chapter 23 Act II Scene 1 Tabio and Chocolate Point.

Prologue.

The scent is alive
Of new love abide
The Siamese
Are on their knees
The mixes are
At tens and sixes.

Chocolate Point, a dutiful daughter
Is caught between love and a mixed up bother.
Tabio loves again,
but uncertain to win.

The end not clear,
Breed vs free
Which will persevere?
Together or apart
At least it is a start.

 Scene I  - an alley filled with trash,  next to an orchard

Tabio: How can I go away from here, when my heart is singing her praises?  Oh, trash strewn path, lead me again to where my heart stopped beating.

Enter Daigo and Trashio

Daigo: Tabio! I know that you are here!  I didn't see you leave that party.  You must have snuck out while I wasn't looking.

Trashio: What do you mean?  He surely hightailed it out of there when we saw the son of Chocolate Hurricane. I didn't know Siamese cats could be so big and brawny!

Daigo:  What?  No, that wasn't muscle it was just his costume.  I saw the stuffing fall out of that leopard's costume as he was trying to jump.  I'm not afraid of him!

Trashio: Tabio, I'm yowling now, you have to come home now.  Well, not that our home is anything to look at, or to smell.  But really, now you need to come out and talk some sense! I swear. Tabio has done it again, and went and fallen in love.  I can tell. I saw it the last time with Blackithia.  But really, Tabio, she's a Siamese!  What can you have in common?  I have never even seen a Siamese come near a street cat? What can you be thinking?

Tabio: (speaks softly to himself) She doesn't know that I'm not a Siamese, I'll keep my secret a bit longer

Daigo: Come out Tabio!  I'm adding my voice to Trashes'  We gotta get out of here before the Siams' come out and trash the place.  He's fallen hard this time, Trash.  A dainty paw, blue eyes, large ears, long whiskers, I'm dreaming already. But I'm not falling.  Nope, not me. I'm done with that foolishness.   Tabio, cat it out of there.

Trashio:  Hey Daig.  Lets scat, let's face it Tabs is well hidden and doesn't want to be found.  Maybe the gal has already found out that he's not a Siam and gave him the slip.  I'm not going to search this place, it smells!

Daigo: You're telling me that this place smells?  What's your name again?

Trashio:  Hey, don't be hashing me.  I'm scatting catting and gone.

Daigo: What? Hey, don't leave me here by myself!  I'm afraid of the dark!

Trashio:  Now you tell me.   Tabio, if you are there, then take care, buds.  Don't get caught by the Hurricane.

Exit Trashio and Daigo

Chapter 22 The Street Cats arrive at the Party! Act 1 Scene 6

Daigo: Hey Man, this is cool, As we enter the Siamese make way and let us in!

Trashio: I haven't had this much fun in a long time!  This Siamese party is the best, they have a Yowler Cat Band, and over there, look there is a movie!

Tabio: It's is not a movie! The Humans are putting on a play.  It is an old play, with music, and we cats can see it though that window.  Honestly. Trashio, can't you tell the difference between a window and a TV? Let me remember the name? Yes, West Side Story, about two rival gangs.  There is a boy and a girl from different gangs and they fall in love.   I love it!

Trashio: I haven't been inside a house for ages, you know that!  I just love that Yowler band!  Can I join in?

Tabio:  No, don't do that, your voice will give us away.

Daigo: I'm going to eat. Wow, liver pate on a cracker, stewed pigeons, milk punch,  what a treat!

Tabio: Whoa, look at that lioness! She's beautiful.  Diago go find out her name!

Trashio:  Wait, let me fix you up, old boy.  Here, fluff out the mane, tuck the zipper in. There you go.

Tabio: Let me talk to her.  Roar, There, now she knows that I'm here.  Where are you going, you cute lioness?

Chocolate Point:  I'm on my way to the stewed pigeons, do you want one?

Tabio: Sure, I'll take one, and I'll take you too!

Chocolate Point:  All you lions are the same.  Take and take.

Tabio: Your blue eyes make my heart sing.

Chocolate Point. You say that to all the lionesses, I'm sure.

Tabio: I have never met a lioness like you.  You are the sunrise of my heart.

Chocolate Point:  When the sun rises, the party will be over.

Tabio: But I will be with you every sunrise of your life.

Chocolate Point: But after sunrise comes the sunset,

Tabio: And the sun will always shine in my heart like your eyes, shine in mine.

OChocolate Powder: Chocolate Point!  Come here, your father wants you to meet someone!

Chocolate Point: I have to go, my mother the hostess of the party, calls me to go.

Tabio: Till the sun rises, I'll be here.  Just whisper Tabio and I'll hear you all the days of my life.

Chocolate Powder: NOW!

Chocolate Point. Yes mother, I"m coming! (Tabio, what a strange Siamese name, no matter)

Tabio:  Daigo, are you thinking what I'm thinking?

Daigo: Yes, you just hit it off with the daughter of Chocolate Hurricane! You'd better be careful around him,   And here he comes now!  With his bodyguards!

Chocolate Time:  Dad, I'll chase those intruders out.  They obviously don't belong here, there's something not Siamese about them!

Chocolate Hurricane:  I'll not a have a cat fight in my house.  Let them stay.

Chocolate Time:  Let me smell them, no, they have not been groomed for a long time. Let me get my claws into them. grrr

Trashio, Daigo, and Tabio: grr, rwow.

Chocolate Hurricane: Boys Boys,  You can stay, I don't want any browling at the engagement party of my prize daughter, Chocolate Point.

Daigo: Its ok, we were just leaving, thank you for your hospitality, sir.

Trashio, Daigo, and Tabio exit

Chapter 21 Chocolate Point gets ready for The Cat Party! Act 1 Scene 5

Chocolate Powder:  Chocolate Point, Aren't you ready yet?

Chocolate Point: Why mother, You know I don't really want to go.

Chocolate Powder: Here it is, you'd better get ready because the guests are beginning to arrive!

Chocolate Point:  Really?  I'm just so, so,

Chocolate Powder:  Please, our family honor is at stake.

Chocolate Point: Oh, so that's why I have to be a lioness?  How boring.  Can I be the tiger?

Chocolate Powder: No, it is all set.  Your father wants to make the announcement at the end of the party that you are going to be mated.

Chocolate Point: So soon? Yes mother.  I know, it is the Siamese Cat way.  I'll be nice and modest as a lioness.  (but she doesn't know that in the wild lionesses are the head of the family! I'll show her!)

Chocolate Powder: Go out there and enjoy yourself. Listen, the music is starting.  That Cat band is really good, they get the right Yowl, in the right place.

Chocolate Point: Mother, really.  That's old folks music.  I'd like to do the Hip Hop.

Chocolate Powder: Get   Out   into   The   Party.  NOW

Chocolate Point: Ok, I'm going.  Roar!  (I'm getting into my character, If I don't like that lion, I'll run away!)

Chapter 20 Tabio and Friends choose costumes

Act 1 Scene 5

Daigo: Man, why does everything we do always come from the the trash!

Trashio: Hey dude, I'm the expert of finding stuff, do you want to look through the trash?

Tabio: Boys, we've been through this many times, if you keep it up I'll be the only one going to this party and you'll stay outside!

Trashio: Here are the cat costumes I told you all about!  Hey, here's a lion costume, a giraffe, a monkey, a tiger and a peacock.

Daigo: Yes, I'll go like a peacock!

Trashio: And I'll chase you and eat you!

Tabio: Boys!  Now, lets get down to business.  Let me see that lion costume.

Trashio: Hey, you don't want that one, that's not a lion, its a lioness costume. A lion has a Mane.

Tabio: What's the difference?

Trashio: Well, we'll put a mane on it.  Here's some brown yarn. Let's wrap it around. Yup, now it looks like a boy lion.

Daigo: What about Me?

Trashio:  Yes, I like your idea about the peacock.  Nobody will guess that you are a street cat in that!  Go on your back,  Let me get the zipper, whoops, it broke.  I guess that's why they are in the trash.  Beggars can't be choosers!

Tabio: Trash guy, what are you going to wear?

Trashio: Who me?  Ah, well, maybe I'll just go as a street cat.

Tabio:  No, that's the point!  We have to blend in with the party.  The invite says that all the cats will be in costume.  If you don't put on a costume they will know right away and get us all pawed out!

Trashio: So, I'll go as the tiger.  Whoa, this zipper is too long. But the perfume smells wonderful. I wonder who tried it on before me?  Yup, I'm in love with this smell!

Tabio: You always smell dude, what's new about that?  We all ready?  Daigo, put your tail up!

Daigo:  It is up.  This tail is too heavy.

Tabio: Maybe you'll meet a lady peacock and fall in love?

Daigo: Just my luck, I've got a tailache already.

Tabio: Hey Trashio, can you manage with that tiger?  That zipper is soo long!

Trashio: Quiet, and if you don't watch out I'll take off your mane and you'll have to run from all the other toms!

Tabio: Ok, let's stop catting around and get going, what time do we have to be there?

Trashio: Oh, it's not written here. Well, it's after dark, so let's just saunter over.

Trashio, Daigo and Tabio exit.

Chapter 19 Picky Chocolate Point's costume

Act 1 Scene 4

Chocolate Point: Human, I don't like that costume! It has a cheezy tail, it is too long! The stripes just don't go with my aura! Look at the zipper, it shows!

Chocolate Powder: Now daughter, don't complain so much. This party is being given for you!

Chocolate Point: So that's the Point! I have to look perfect, it's my party.

Chocolate Powder: The Royal Siamese is going to be there,  Maybe we will just not wear costumes.  Why be ashamed of our own fur?

Chocolate Point: No, no, that's the point! We all dress up so we CAN tell each other apart!

Chocolate Powder: Human,  Purr, purr, Please put a different costume on Chocolate Point?

Chocolate Point: Yes, I like that Lioness costume.  can I roar? Wait a minute, wait a minute, my tail is stuck.  Meow! Mom, help me please? Take it off! Rrwar!  That lioness costume is too big, give me the other one!

Chocolate Powder: If you would calm down, then the girl would be able to get everything ready.

Chocolate Point:  Maybe you are right, the point is to be ourselves, but the Lioness costume is soo cute.  I'll try again. Can I have some milk?

Chocolate Powder: Milk?  You haven't drunk milk in the longest time!

Chocolate Point:  It will help calm me down. Please? And throw those costumes that are broken out.  I don't want to see them!

Chocolate Powder: The Party starts in a half hour, so you promise to behave yourself?  Remember that we are counting on you to make the right choice of a mate.  All the eligible Siamese toms will be here soon, and you have to act lady like.

Chocolate Point: No playing in the chocolate powder? It was so much fun last time.  I ended up looking

like a chocolate cat!

Chocolate Powder:  Right.  Not acceptable. For. Tonight.

Chocolate Point:  You know I hate it when she talks like that.  Ok, Lioness suit, here I come! Rwrar!
